Wilke’s Estate Jewelry – Edwardian

Edwardian Period 1901 – 1915

Though the style began in the late Victorian period, the Edwardian Period officially began in 1901 with the reign of King Edward VII. The predominant characteristics of the jewelry were an elegant light, airy, and delicate style. The use of platinum made these wonderful designs possible. Diamonds were widely used to create some of the most sophisticated jewelry ever made.
